中考英語知識點：’s與of 屬格的比較

　　1.表示所屬關(guān)系時很多情況下可以互換

　　the boy’s arrival = the arrival of the boy

　　Mr. Smith’s passport = the passport of Mr. Smith

　　a cat’s tail = the tail of a cat

　　the government’s plan = the plan of the government

　　2.不可互換的情況

　　1）必須用’s的場合

　　① 當(dāng)被修飾的名詞后面有同位語時

　　He is my brother’s friend, a doctor.

　　Li Hua’s brother, a PLA man, is very good at English

　　② 表示分類時

　　He received a doctor’s degree last year

　　Have you a copy of the teacher’s book?

　　2) 只用of 的場合

　　① of + 名詞結(jié)構(gòu)中，名詞后有修飾語或同位語時

　　He was very excited at the words of the people present at the party.

　　Have you seen the new car of the boy who talked with us just now?

　�、� of 表示同為關(guān)系時

　　The city of Beijing 北京市

　　The two of us 我們倆

　�、� 用于無生命的事物時：the subject of the sentence 句子主語

　�、墚�(dāng)中心詞是名詞化的名詞時：the life of the poor 窮人的生活
